Project Expectations

Attendance

Expected attendance is 90%. Participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion of the
project.

Readings

A list of suggested readings for each session is provided. You are recommended to complete
the suggested readings before class and any given tasks that guide you to understand the
content and/or prepare you for your school improvement.
Short articles are provided to give you more practical or critical thoughts and help you to see
the innovation, entrepreneurialism and change management in context.

Preparation for each workshop

Workshop Preparation

Workshops 1 & 2 Prepare the annual school plan and development plan.

1. Prepare a committee or subject plan. (Draft is acceptable)
Workshop 3
2. Prepare a strategic plan in point form.
Before the session––
1. Bring the annual subject plan or committee plan.
2. Bring the meeting agenda or minutes.
Workshop 4
Assignments––
1. Create a short-term win and document it.
2. Conduct an interim report before the next meeting.

Bring the mid-term report and annual plan for your subject/ committee/ working
Workshop 5
group.

Bring a one-page strategic plan for the upcoming year.
Workshop 6
Invite the principal to join the workshop.
