Dr Md Farid Hossain has been invited by the Asia Society Hong Kong Center to present at the panel discussion entitled “Bangladesh: The Road Ahead” on 12 September. the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis established in 1956, and in the year since its establishment, it has swiftly come to be ranked among the top one percent of think tanks worldwide, and among the top thirty — out of nearly two thousand — foreign policy think tanks in the United States.
Dr Md Farid Hossain is currently an RGC Postdoctoral Fellow of the Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies at The Education University of Hong Kong. His research interests include China and the Global Political Economy, Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese Soft Power, Chinese Infrastructure, Investment and Capital Flows in South Asia and U.S. Foreign Policy.
