Silliman University Junior High School Educators Embark on Inspiring Visit to The Education University of Hong Kong
On 17 June 2024, a delegation of 19 teachers from Silliman University Junior High School embarked on a knowledge-sharing journey during their visit to the Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies (SSPS), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).
The primary objective of this visit was to foster academic exchange and collaboration between Silliman University Junior High School and The Education University of Hong Kong. By facilitating direct interactions between educators from both institutions, the visit aimed to encourage the exchange of ideas, pedagogical approaches, and best practices in the field of education.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Xiao Hanyu, Assistant Professor of SSPS, who provided an insightful introduction to the University, the Department, and its diverse range of programmes, followed by a campus visit arranged by Ms. Molly Cheng (Research Assistant I of SSPS). The visiting educators were enthralled by the university's rich academic environment.
The bonds forged between the two institutions through this visit will serve as a solid foundation for future collaborations and partnerships aimed at advancing the field of education.
