BSocSc(SEDS) students participated in the Entrepreneurship camp in the Greater Bay Area
Three student representatives from the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Social Entrepreneurship and Development Studies participated in a three-day intensive entrepreneurship training camp, organised by the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Centre for Family Business, from 2nd to 4th November.
The camp included lectures on entrepreneurship theory, field visit and project roadshows. Guest speakers shared their own stories and insights on overcoming challenges in the early stages of starting a business. The camp also featured visits to a provincial e-commerce demonstration enterprise to gain valuable insights into management strategies. The activities concluded with business plan development and project roadshows, where participants received feedback from a panel of judges.
Jimmy Yeung was greatly inspired during this camp. He explored different entrepreneurial models from the cases shared by Professor Au, which helped him improve himself on the entrepreneurial path.
