APS scholar awarded new public policy funding
Congratulations to Dr. Vyas on winning the Public Policy Research (PPR) Funding for her project titled "Advancing Job- and Health-associated Outcomes for Employees of Small and Medium Enterprises in Hong Kong: A Study on Workplace Supervisor Support with Smartphone-based and Capacity-building Interventions". A total amount of HK$ 882,395.00 is granted for this project which will last for 2 years. Dr. Vyas is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Asian and Policy Studies of The Education University of Hong Kong. She is the Program Leader of Master of Public Policy and Management. Her research interests include Public Administration and Management; Public Personnel Management/ Personnel Management; Organization Behaviour; Public Sector Reform in Asia; and Comparative Public Administration and Policy. The PPR scheme was first launched in 2005/06 by the Research Grants Council and now is managed by the PICO (The Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office). The PPR Funding Scheme aims to promote public policy research and provide evidence-based research to facilitate public policy discussion.
