Global Governance Studies
INTRODUCTION
The minor in Global Governance Studies consists of five social science courses with a focus on political science as applied to global urban and environmental studies. The minor will enable students first to come to a critical understanding of the political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions of globalization. They will then examine globalization's interrelationships with international organizations, international action to handle environmental change, international conflict, trends of urbanization, urban governance and policy, and other regional and international social and political trends.
