This Strategic Plan represents the University’s official priorities and objectives for 2025-2031, providing a clear roadmap for all units to align their Development Plans with the University’s strategic directions, ultimately guiding the University toward achieving its vision and mission.

The Strategic Plan is formulated through a rigorous planning in consultation with various stakeholders. A university-wide Steering Committee on the Development of Strategic Plan 2025-2031 was established in early 2023 to drive and recommend the development of the Strategic Plan. Various consultations were conducted throughout the process, including engagements with staff, students, and alumni at the Faculty level, as well as a university-wide online survey. These efforts aimed to gather insights into the current position and future strategic directions of the University.

On 30 October 2023, a Council Retreat was organised with the participation of Council members, senior management, and heads of academic support and administrative units. The Retreat facilitated the exchange of insights and feedback on the preliminary framework of the Strategic Plan, as well as proposed revisions to the existing Vision, Mission, and Core Values that align with the latest development of the University. The framework and full draft of the Strategic Plan were refined based on feedback from the Council Retreat and other units, and subsequently reviewed and approved by key committees, including the Senior Management Committee, the Academic Board, and the Council.

Recognising the dynamic global and local contexts, this Strategic Plan is designed to adapt to the evolving landscape of the digital future. The University will continuously monitor its implementation and periodically revisit and review the plan, enabling it to make necessary adjustments to align with future changes while maintaining its overall vision.
