The first Practitioner Training in Meditation on the Soles of the Feet for Managing Aggressive and Other Emotionally Arousing Behaviors 3 days workshop in Hong Kong has been held successfully by Professor Nirbhay N. Singh the developer of the Meditation on the Soles of the Feet practice and Dr. Rachel E. Myers. The SoF practice transforms automatic reacting to mindfully responding to an emotionally arousing situation. This is an evidence-based practice for managing variety of emotions, such as anger and aggression, anxiety, worry, sadness, and unhappiness. This 3-days training is offered to psychologists, counselors, psychotherapists, and other mental health professionals who have a personal meditation practice and want to use SoF with their clients.

Nirbhay N. Singh, the developer of the Meditation on the Soles of the Feet practice, is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, and a behavior analyst at the BCBA-D level.

Rachel E. Myers is an Associate Professor at the WellStar School of Nursing at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
