Chan-yee mui, a Visual Arts teacher in Tin Shui Wai, took the Master of Arts in Educational Counselling to find better ways to help students psychologically.
“I could sense the emotion behind students art pieces.“ She says, adding that what she learnt from the programme was “life-saving”.
“I felt I could give more timely support to students if I had counselling skills. The Master of Arts of Educational Counselling helped me learn how to decode student behaviour and emotion. The visual arts room became a place students could turn to for help.”
Miss Chan’s aims and work fit perfectly with those of the FEHD to help our communities by raising the standard and impact of everything we do to the NEXT LEVEL.
