Let’s check out the guidebook (click HERE) and dive into the journey of our fellow university classmates Jack and Sam to see how old habits can be easily adjusted without significantly sacrificing their usual practices. Along the way, you will discover some interesting myths and facts that will stimulate your thoughts. With tips and myth-busting facts, you’ll be saving energy like a pro in no time!

Also, let’s join the E.A.S.Y. (Electricity Awareness Starts with You) Campaign under the Jockey Club Sustainable Campus Consumer Programme (JCSCCP) and complete the challenges by 30  April 2025 to win amazing rewards!

  1. Hall Challenge (For student residents of Grantham Hall only):
  1. Electricity Reduction - Achieve a reduction in overall electricity consumption of Grantham Hall in April 2025 compared to April 2024
  2. Mini Quiz - Finish the quiz (click HERE) and understand the consumption pattern of your hall

If Grantham Hall achieves reduction in electricity consumption in April 2025 compared to April 2024, student residents of Grantham Hall who have completed the mini quiz will:

  • Get a chance to win HK$2,000 cash prize (one winner only)
  • Get 100 Carbon Wallet Points (for Carbon Wallet app users only; click HERE for details about carbon wallet app)
  1. Individual Challenge (For all EdUHK students):
  1. Word Puzzle - Try the word puzzle to discover the embedded electricity saving tips!
  2. Eco-Labelling Quiz - Test your knowledge on electricity-efficient label and products!
  3. Scenario-Based Questions – Solve real-life electricity-saving challenges!
  4. Make a Pledge – We have 10 EASY tips on our Padlet board. Get to know the YES and NO, you can also share your tips on the first post to inspire your fellow classmates! To complete this task, you have to submit your pledge in this form!

Highest scorers across the above 4 challenges will get a chance to win one of the below prizes!
