About Us

Thank you for visiting this newly revamped website of the Estates Office (EO).

As the name indicates, EO is responsible for all estates related matters on campus. Our duties cover not only facilities management such as cleaning, security, landscaping, venue booking, repairs and maintenance but also implementation of works projects of different scales and nature including the on-going New Academic Building project, sports and transportation arrangement and other special duties etc. This office is manned by both professionals and technical staff of different disciplines and assisted by a pool of supporting staff.

Being one of the largest departments of the University, our functions and operations are widespread and complex and affect the campus users at large. It is hoped that the launch of this website can help all stakeholders understand our functions more efficiently which may in turn facilitate the delivery of our services for the benefits of all.

The Estates Office has around 90 staff of the professional, administrative, technical and general grades. It is a multi-disciplinary unit which consists of eight operational sections to provide project and facility management services and related professional advice for the University's community.
