North Point Study Centre

When Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / "Extreme Condition"^ is in force, the North Point Study Centre will be closed. 

The North Point Study Centre will be reopened under the following conditions:

Mondays – Fridays:	If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is cancelled at or before 4:00pm, the North Point Study Centre will be reopened within 2 hours. If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is in force at or after 4:00pm, the North Point Study Centre will remain closed on that day.
Saturdays:	If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is cancelled at or before 11:00am, the North Point Study Centre will be reopened within 2 hours. If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is in force at or after 11:00am, the North Point Study Centre will remain closed on that day.

^ Under certain “extreme conditions” caused by super typhoons, such as serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or

large-scale power outage after super typhoons, the Government will review the situation (including public transportation and other aspects) and make an announcement

to the public.
