Description

The new North Point Study Centre (NPSC) is the second down-town centre of The Education University of Hong Kong which provide a comfortable environment with quality facilities for teaching and learning. Conveniently located near the Fortress Hill MTR station, this 7-storey building provide approximately 3,700 square metres in gross floor area with the following new facilities:

·       12 classrooms of various sizes with enhanced multi-media equipment to provide collaborative teaching and learning environment;

·       1 lecture theatre with a capacity to accommodate about 135 persons for conducting large lectures or events;

·       1 AI Education Laboratory equipped with high-end computers;

·       5 discussion rooms and 1 learning commons with audio-visual equipment and wireless network to support academic learning and collaborative work;

·       1 conference room for executives meeting; and

·       Other administrative and supporting facilities including offices, pantries, server rooms and storage areas, etc.

The renovation works were carried out by phases, commenced in October 2021 and substantially completed in Jun 2023.
