Campus Access of Visitors/External Participants Attending On-campus Activities/Events
While we are pleased to see many more activities/events/tours/seminar, etc. on the campus attended by groups of external participants, etc., we envisage a higher likelihood that these visitors/external participants, who are not familiar with our campus, might enter restricted areas/venues if they are not properly guided or accompanied, resulting in undesirable outcome or disturbances to other users.
To facilitate smooth and safe running of the campus whilst refraining uninvited guests participating in on-campus activities/events, would hosting department please notify the Estates Office (wmeo@eduhk.hk) in advance on the list/group of invited guests; for visitors/external participants not pre-registered through the hosting departments in advance, their access may be denied.
Please note that this arrangement takes immediate effect and we are reviewing measures to help implement this arrangement more efficiently.
