EdUHK Student Shek Wai-hung Scoops Two World Cup Gym Golds
Following his first victory in the vault at the World Challenge Cup Competition, held earlier in Osijek, Croatia, Shek Wai-hung, a Year 3 student in the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) programme at The Education University of Hong Kong, recently won his second gold medal in the same competition at the Slovenia stop.
Dr Hawk Chang Wins ‘First Book Prize’
Dr Hawk Chang Tsung-chi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, has been named recipient of the First Book Prize 2019 by the Hong Kong Academy of the Humanities (HKAH) for his monograph titled Ireland Then and Now: Traditions and Difference in Contemporary (Irish) Short Fiction.

Dr Chan Man-ho, Assistant Professor at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies, has gained an Honorable Mention from the Gravity Research Foundation in USA for his entry in a prestigious international competition highly regarded by physicists worldwide, namely “Awards for Essays on Gravitation 2019”.
Time Capsule Opening cum 25th Anniversary Commemorative Publication Launch
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held a ceremony today (27 May) to open a time capsule placed on campus in the 1990s, unearthing a number of items and documents that bear testimony to the transformation of the University.
