Life Education and Citizen Science through Tree Protection and Conservation project
At a press conference today (24 June), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) announced the commencement of a two-year project, titled Life Education and Citizen Science through Tree Protection and Conservation. The project aims to develop a platform for the community to contribute to the greening and re-greening in Hong Kong to raise public awareness of tree conservation and to promote the importance of Life Education.
Emeritus Professor Kerry Kennedy Earns Outstanding Achievement Award
Emeritus Professor Kerry Kennedy, Advisor (Academic Development) at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Governance and Citizenship, The Education University of Hong Kong, has received an award for Outstanding Achievement from the Children’s Identity and Citizenship European Association (CiCea).
Cambodian MoU Sets Stage for Building Teacher Capacity
The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) of The Education University of Hong Kong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic cooperation with the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE) under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia on 7 May, with the aim of building the capacity of Cambodian universities for quality enhancement of higher education teaching and learning.
