"Hong Kong has the potential to develop Biotechnology Industry; however this industry is still not very mature due to the lack of local biotechnology education and training, as well as no local innovation yet."

He suggested that researchers in Hong Kong should transfer the advanced biotechnology techniques to China; China in turn can provide the farmland for large production of biotechnological agricultural products.
