Hong Kong Institute of Biotechology
The Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology Limited (HKIB) is a private company and subsidiary of the Council of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
It was founded in 1988 with a donation from the HK Jockey Club Charities Trust by the Council of the CUHK as a non-profit making but self-financing development center for biotechnology products.
Services
The mission of HKIB is to provide the catalyst and essential infrastructure for the emergence of a successful biotechnology industry in HKSAR through downstream R&D support and an incubator facility for local entrepreneurs to develop biotechnology products.
