The Biotechnology Research lnstitute (BRl)
Introduction
The Biotechnology Research Institute (BRI) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) was inaugurated in January 1990 through a generous donation of HK$130 M from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
Mission of BRI
- To assist Hong Kong in creating a viable and productive
biotechnology industry.
- To foster the cooperation among industry, academic and government in the
area of biotechnology.
