Conclusion
In this Module, we have simply provided you with some strategies,
thoughts and challenges for making your new leadership an exciting
time. We have argued that all beginning principals need to ensure that
they have strategies in place for ‘getting out of the engine room’, for
finding their way clear of the day-to-day management tasks and taking
their place on the ship’s bridge. Leadership is exciting and challenging,
and it is yours – make the most of it.
