Professor Sun Jieyuan is the Vice-President of Guangxi Normal University, Dean of
Faculty of Education, Guangxi Normal University, National second-level professor
and Doctoral supervisor. He has a series of distinguished titles including
Distinguished Professor of Ministry of Education of Changjiang Scholar; State
Inspector of China; the first-batch expert recognized by the “National Training
Program” (guopei jihua) of the Ministry of Education; “Bagui Scholar” of Guangxi;
and Outstanding Teacher of Guangxi High Education Institutions. He is also
Member of the Teaching Steering Committee for the Education Discipline of the
Ministry of Education; Consultant for National Education Planning; Deputy
Director of the National Academic Committee on Education Theories; Vice
President of National Academic Committee of Educational Anthropology; Deputy
Director of Local Education History Research Association; Director of Teacher
Education Experimental Teaching Center of Guangxi Normal University, a national
experimental teaching exemplary centre; Director of Guangxi ethnic education
development and research centre; Chairman of Education Studies Committee of
Guangxi Education Society; Researcher of Southwest China Ethnic Education and
Psychology Research Center in Southwest University, a key Humanities and Social
Sciences research centre under the Ministry of Education; and Chief Expert of
