Dr Paulo Volante is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education of the
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he is also Director of the UC
Advanced Program in School Leadership and Management (Programa Avanzado
en Dirección y Liderazgo UC).
He has BA in Philosophy, a Master in Business Administration and a Phd in
Psychology.
His research work focuses on instructional leadership, school leadership and
administration and school improvement projects. He addresses his research
through a strategic and organizational psychology perspective. He is currently
leading two public funded research projects: one about a virtual assessment
center for school leaders, and the other about simulations for the development of
school leadership.
