HOLOSPORTS |
The development of STEM in Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui Primary School (Branch) (LSTLKKB) is more mature and advanced. The facilities are favourable for students to make STEM products by themselves, such as the Technology Lab and the Makers Lab. The school conducts comprehensive learning progress in STEM education, from regular courses to after-school training. These include the weekly “Young Makers” lessons and STEM days, so fundamental knowledge of students about STEM is built through long-term installation.

Automatic Paint Spraying Machine |
There is an urgent need to implement Automation in the construction industry. The lack of manpower, especially site workers, is one of the culprits. Also, injury or even fatality are often involved in construction sites around the world. After consulting with Yau Lee Construction Co., Ltd, we have decided to tackle the problem related to wall painting in construction sites. Therefore, our group has designed an auto-painting machine to overcome this imminent problem. Wall painting is a hazardous activity for the human being. There are already many reports on the paint used that contain carcinogenic substances. Long-term exposure to these paint may cause cancer to workers. As a result, our group hope the design of this panting machine can help reduce the time used in this kind of activity. |
