Registration now open for 2018-2019 round

The U-STEMist Scheme (2018 - 2019) is now open for registration. Students who are looking for an interesting and rewarding experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are encouraged to join.
This round of the scheme runs in 2 stages from October 2018 to June 2019. Major activities include:

Visit schools, STEM organisations and community organisations

Joint-university China STEM Study Visit

The U-STEMist Scheme organised the Joint-university China STEM Study Visit between 25th June and 26th June. 33 students from 4 universities participated in the study visit and visited the following companies and schools in Shenzhen and Guangzhou:

Through attending industrial talks and sample classes, students have gained insights on the development of STEM Education in mainland schools and learnt about the use of Building Information Modelling in the construction industry from the visit. They were happy about the arrangements for the visit and agreed that the trip broadened their horizons.
The U-STEMist Scheme Project Exhibition cum Prize Presentation
Sat 9 June 2018
The U-STEMist Scheme Project Exhibition cum Prize Presentation was conducted on 9 June 2018 (Saturday) on PolyU Campus, with 22 STEM Project Teams showcasing their STEM project in STEM Education, Smart City, Caring for the Society, and Health Monitoring & Promotion. Dr YU Kar Ming, Guest of Honour and Dean of Students of EdUHK, Project Leaders, Co-leaders, Community Partners and schools took part in the event to share happiness and achievements of the student teams.
A Prize Presentation Ceremony was held in Cheung On Tak Lecture Theatre, PolyU Campus, right after the Project Exhibition, to appreciate teams with outstanding performances in the scheme. The results are as follows:
