Community Partners and Projects

New website for The U-STEMist Scheme is now in use. For the latest information about the scheme, please visit http://ustemist.info.

Community Partners

The scheme will invite community organisations, governmental departments, schools and public organisations to serve as Community Partners, in supporting the STEM project groups in completing their tasks (Activities in Stage 2).

Collaboration between STEM project groups (Participants from universities) and Community Partners

Organisers of the scheme will conduct interviews with Community Partners in understanding the operations and the needs of them, and to arrange STEM project groups in conducting Stage 2 activities (providing STEM-related designs and service activities to Community Partner assigned). Nature and format of the STEM service activities depend on the service area of the Community Partner. For example, designs and services in fields of health, self-care, safety, awareness, leisure, living environment and living standards. Regarding the service targets, they can be elderly, the disabled, students, toddlers or people with special needs.
