Psychological Wellness Festival
A signature programme of Counselling Services designed to promote psychological wellness to students. The festival will feature collaborations with NGOs, along with various on-campus activities and booths.
Psychological Wellness Series
Various talks and workshops are organized to enhance students' understanding and knowledge of psychological wellness. Guest speakers with different areas of expertise will be invited to share their knowledge and experience. The talks and workshops provide valuable insights and practical strategies to maintain and improve mental health.
Mental Health First Aid Training
Through this 12-hour certificate course, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to support individuals who are developing mental illness or are in a mental health crisis. Students will learn how to identify problems early, assess risks, provide immediate support, and encourage professional help. Students who complete the course will receive a certificate, which is acknowledged by the Mental Health First Aid International.
Peer Caring Workshops
These workshops provide students with a deeper understanding of mental health and help them identify peers in emotional distress. Students will also learn comforting communication skills to support their friends effectively.
Ed Power Station
Ed Power Station is set up at various times throughout the academic year to uplift our students. Through the distribution of souvenirs, DIY activities, and mini-games, we aim to convey our care and support, along with positive messages, to the student community.
