All applications for Government financial assistance schemes are administrated by the Student Finance Office (SFO) under the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA).
The schemes for tertiary students include:
- Tertiary Student Finance Scheme – Publicly-funded Programmes (TSFS) (For UGC-funded students)
- Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) (For Self-funded students)
- Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Full-time Tertiary Students (NLSFT) (For UGC-funded students)
- Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) (For Self-funded students)
- Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) (For students who are not covered under the TSFS, FASP, NLSFT and NLSPS)
- Student Travel Subsidy for Tertiary or Post-secondary Students
- Hostel Subsidy
- Additional Academic Expenses Grant for Students with Special Educational Needs
