The Chinese-English Translation Competition 2016 organized by the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language Studies has successfully concluded. The keen competition attracted a total of 179 participants from various local institutions, including the eight UGC-funded institutions as well as Hang Seng Management College. We thank all the participants for their interest and efforts made in this competition. We hope it was an enjoyable experience for everyone.

The Final Contest was held on our Tai Po campus on 15 April 2016. Results were as follows:
