Aims of the Minor
In line with the University’s twin goals of internationalization and developing students’ global awareness, the Minor in the French Studies programme is primarily designed to enrich our students’ major studies by content learning (i.e. French art, culture, education, and/or history) at the University or during their exchange semester(s) in a French university. The second objective of this Minor programme is to equip our students with a level of French competence equivalent to Level A2 or B1 with regard to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
