The Education University of Hong Kong

Back to Where It All Began: Alumni Day 2025

EdUHK alumni and their families and friends were welcomed back to EdUHK’s Tai Po campus for an afternoon of activities on March 22. Alumni visiting the GS booth on the Podium at the Tai Po campus received a warm welcome and a choice of bespoke souvenirs.

The annual homecoming, organised by the Alumni Affairs and Development Office, aims to promote the University’s sustainable development through emotional connections to foster intergenerational collective memories via campus visits and interactive games.

The GS booth was one of many offering gifts and activities. Participants who filled a card with stamps from various University units received additional souvenirs commemorating the Alumni Day.

Former students returning to the Tai Po campus were also offered guided tours that showcased the University’s development, technological changes in education and current student life. Tours included the Future Classroom at the Mong Man Wai Library, an Ecopond “Connecting with Nature” and Robert Black Hall.
