If you are creating your ePortfolio for the first time, you should consider what you want to demonstrate in your ePortfolio and how to organize it. Your ePortfolio should be personalized with own learning objectives, plans and reflections, with records of learning process and outcomes. Below are some guiding questions for you to consider:

  • Personal information
  • Profile picture
  • Introduction about yourself and your page

Personal Learning Goals

  • Your learning goals and expected learning outcomes in HKIEd/programme/ specific course(s)/ or relevant learning activities

Reflective Journals

  • What you have learned from the programme/ specific course(s)/ learning activities
  • How the learning activities and learning outcomes related to your learning goals and personal development
  • Future learning plans generated from your personal goals, reflective journals and evidences of learning

Evidences of your learning

  • Digital artifacts, including word documents (e.g, essays), PowerPoint presentations, pictures, and external media (e.g. YouTube, SlideShare, Google Drives, etc.). Select your best works or any artifacts that related to your reflective journals or contents of your ePortfolio.
