Create your own ePortfolio now! You may also choose the portfolio you have created for your academic courses and/or overseas exchange programmes for submission to the ePortfolio Award, as long as they are well organized and demonstrated your learning process and outcomes with reflections fitting to our given criteria.
If you are creating your ePortfolio for the first time, you should consider what you want to demonstrate in your ePortfolio and how to organize it. Your ePortfolio should be personalized with own learning objectives, plans and reflections, with records of learning process and outcomes. Below are some guiding questions for you to consider:

What do you want to demonstrate in your ePortfolio page(s)?
How would your ePortfolio demonstrate your personal/ learning/ professional development?
How would you organize your ePortfolio? (e.g. Number of pages/ layout and contents of each page, etc.)
What can you include in your ePortfolio? Some suggestion are given below:
Profile Information
- Personal information
- Profile picture
- Introduction about yourself and your page
Personal Learning Goals
- Your learning goals and expected learning outcomes in HKIEd/programme/ specific course(s)/ or relevant learning activities
Reflective Journals
- What you have learned from the programme/ specific course(s)/ learning activities
- How the learning activities and learning outcomes related to your learning goals and personal development
- Future learning plans generated from your personal goals, reflective journals and evidences of learning
Evidences of your learning
- Digital artifacts, including word documents (e.g, essays), PowerPoint presentations, pictures, and external media (e.g. YouTube, SlideShare, Google Drives, etc.). Select your best works or any artifacts that related to your reflective journals or contents of your ePortfolio.

How to submit?
- Create ePortfolio in Mahara
- Create a Mahara secret URL of your ePortfolio
- Submit the link via Machform!
Please Pay Attention to the Following Issues:
- ONLY ONE link/ secret URL should be submitted for each entrant. If you have submitted multiple times, we will only consider the LAST ONE valid.
- If you have created various pages of learning experience, we suggest you to link up all the pages using the method presented in the video “Make an ePortfolio Collection”.
- Whether you are submitting a single page or a collection of pages, please ensure all the pages are accessible. You may refer to the method presented in the video for generating a secret URL “Edit access and generate a secret URL for the ePortfolio Collection”. (The steps are similar for generating secret URL for a single ePortfolio page or an ePortfolio collection).
