普通话-英语双语配音比赛 Mandarin-English Dubbing Contest
活动宗旨Objectives：
1. 评估学生的双语能力 To assess the students’ bilingual proficiency;
2. 提高学生的语言表达能力 To improve students' language expression ability;
3. 增强学生的双语应用能力 To enhance students' bilingual application ability.

活动简介Activity Description:
本次活动旨在评估学生的双语能力。学生需要对指定视频片段进行普通话与英语配音，他们应该有准确的发音，适当的语气，流畅的语速，以及符合情境的情感。
希望可以通过鼓励学生参加双语配音来协助提升他们的语言能力, 启发学生主动提升双语能力的动机、增强学习语言的兴趣, 同时增添语言表达的自信心和优势。
The purpose of this activity is to evaluate students' bilingual abilities. Students need to dub designated video clips in both Mandarin and English. They should have accurate pronunciation, appropriate tone, fluent speech speed, and emotions that match the context.
We aim to encourage students to participate in bilingual dubbing to help improve their language skills, inspire their motivation to actively improve their bilingual abilities, enhance their interest in learning languages, and increase their confidence and advantages in language expression.

此段视频的台词几乎都由同一演员完成。台词一气呵成，语速较快，情绪激动。十分考验配音者对於普通话的掌握与台词情感的把握。
The lines in this video are almost all completed by the same actor. The lines are delivered in one go, with a fast pace and intense emotions. It greatly tests the voice actor's mastery of Mandarin and emotional understanding of the dialogue.
参赛规则Competition rules:
1. 参赛者必须为香港教育大学的学生，以个人形式参加。
Participants must be the students of The Education University of Hong Kong and participate in their personal form.
2. 报名表及作品可於ASLLC网页下载。
The registration form and works can be downloaded from the ASLLC website.
3. 参赛作品须用两种语言(普通话和英文)各配音一遍。
The participants must be dubbed in both languages (Mandarin and English).
4. 配音将以音频的形式录制。
The dubbing will be recorded in audio format.
5. 学生在录制音频时，须报上姓名和学生编号。
Students are required to provide their name and student ID when recording audio.
6. 录制完成後，参赛者须依时将参赛作品的音频上载到指定网址。
After the recording is completed, participants must upload the audio of their entries to the designated website on time.
7. 所有参赛者必须在提交後完成问卷评估。
All participants have to finish the evaluation after the submission.
8. 获奖名单将通过ASLLC网页公布。奖项设一、二、三等奖各一名。
The list of winners will be announced through the ASLLC website. There will be one first, one second, and one third prize each.

准确的发音:参赛者将根据他们在普通话和英语中准确发音的能力进行评估。
Accurate Pronunciation: Participants will be evaluated on their ability to pronounce words accurately in both Mandarin and English.
情感表达:评委将考虑参赛者通过他们的声音表达如何成功地捕捉到情绪、感受和情感。
Reflection of Emotion: Judges will consider how well participants capture the mood, feelings, and sentiments through their vocal delivery.
正确的节奏:评委将评估叙述的节奏、韵律和流畅度，确保它与语境中的自然进展相一致。
Right Rhythm: Judges will evaluate the pacing, cadence, and flow of the narration, ensuring that it is consistent with the natural progression in the context.
