Early May, the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) at EdUHK hosted a group of scholars from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Srinakharinwirot University (SWU), Thailand. The 13 academics visited the Department for a series of workshops aimed at building teacher capacity in higher education.
SWU visitors were first led on a campus tour, visiting our Library and exploring the integration of VR technology in teaching and learning. Following the tour, C&I offered our SWU counterparts two professional development workshops as part of the Department’s international engagement initiative. Dr Teresa Ng, Assistant Professor of Teaching at C&I, delivered a session on creative thinking skills for teachers. Dr Kevin Yung, Associate Professor and Associate Head in International and Local Engagement at C&I, then shared with SWU scholars his experience and expertise in curriculum planning in higher education.
