Our department offers a variety of core and elective courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels for different programmes in the University. These courses cover the spectrum of Field Experience (FE), General Education (GE), and Co-curricular and Service Learning (CSL). We are committed to providing our students with multi-disciplinary learning experiences as well as building a solid foundation of professional knowledge and skills, in this light, our courses are specially designed to enhance student learning and hence strengthen the competitiveness of both prospective and in-service teachers.
By virtue of our areas of expertise, the Department offers courses across a wide spectrum of full-time Undergraduate programme domains.
The Department also offers courses for part-time undergraduate programmes – principally Professional and Vocational Education (PVE) and Special Education Needs (SEN).
The Department offers both core and elective courses on the Postgraduate Diploma in Education programme.
The Department contributes to certain Professional Development courses hosted by the Faculty.
Any aspect of course offerings (including, without limitation, the content of the course and the manner in which the course is taught) may be subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the University. Without limiting the right of the University to amend the course and its course offerings, it is envisaged that changes may be required due to factors such as staffing, enrolment levels, logistical arrangements, curriculum changes, and other factors caused by unforeseeable circumstances.
