The Department of Curriculum and Instruction strives for excellence and international recognition in the areas of curriculum, teaching and assessment through its research, teaching, knowledge transfer and community engagement; and seeks to make an impact locally, regionally and internationally.
Mission
We engage in internationally excellent research and teaching, in the specific areas of curriculum development and reform, teaching and assessment both in and beyond the classroom in diverse educational settings.
We provide our students with a multidisciplinary learning experience as well as supporting schools and organisations in their teachers’ professional development at local, regional and international levels.
We serve the professional community through collaboration and partnerships that contribute to the development and improvement of educational policies and practices.
