Conclusion
This Leadership Basics has been about educative leadership. We suggest that educative leadership is
an important paradigm for mid-level leaders, because the purpose of school leadership is to improve
learning, and all members of the school community are learners.
In this reading we have focused on four educative leadership strategies and strongly encourage you to
adopt as many of these as are appropriate in your school context.
