You can do this by paraphrasing, by giving different examples, by providing different items of
supporting evidence and by citing other sources. Especially when the speaker is trying to persuade
the audience about something, impartial supporting evidence may be necessary to avert suspicion
               about motives.

 Present key points logically and simply.

                Use repetition to reinforce.

 Use the arrangement of information for maximum impact.
 Use a structure which is appropriate for the type of information.

 Show how ideas are linked together.

 Make the question period an integral part of the presentation.

               The Conclusion

The conclusion is not something to be plugged onto the end of your presentation to give it a ‘nice’
finish. It is of crucial importance. Its content is more likely to be remembered than that of the main
               body.

Remember that audiences remember the first and last things which are said. It must be seen
therefore as an opportunity to repeat your main points and to emphasize them. It also enables you
to draw everything together into a coherent whole so that the audience is entirely clear about what
               has gone on beforehand.

This final part of the presentation also gives you the chance to ensure people leave the meeting with
positive feelings. You must plan your final statement. Do not leave it to chance, but write a final
statement which has impact and which will leave the audience with an important idea to take away.

               Summary

                Plan your final statement.

 Repeat the main points and re‐emphasize them.

 Relate these to your outcome statements.
 Draw ideas together into a summary.
