Song Huan is professor and director of Institute of Teacher Education at Beijing
Normal University. His main publication and research interests are in teacher
education reform, teacher professional development, professional learning
community and school improvement. Recently, he has been leading research
into quality of pre-service teacher training programmes and its long-term impact
on teacher in-service performance. Courses taught currently include Pedagogy,
Qualitative Research Methods, Teacher Action Research, Teacher Anthropology,
and Quantitative Research Methods.
