香港教育大学（教大）宣布成立「中国语言及中文教育研究中心」，藉此推动及深化汉语语言学与中文教育的相关研究及知识转移。在今日（7月26日）举行的「第五届国际汉语教学研讨会」上，中心举行揭幕仪式。

香港教育大学（教大）中国语言学系与美国普林斯顿大学中文项目于二零一九年七月十七至二十七日，合办第二届「IB理念与汉语二语教学高级研讨坊」，由普林斯顿大学周质平教授、剑桥大学袁博平教授、新加坡国立大学周清海教授，以及教大中国语言学系的专家团队担任主讲，介绍汉语二语教学中的重要问题。

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) at The Education University of Hong Kong has been awarded a HK$10 million contract by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) for a term of three years to teach 15 courses for the teaching staff at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC).

The Assessment Research Centre at The Education University of Hong Kong has received recognition from the World Education Research Association (WERA) for its key International Research Network (IRN) on social metacognition and big data. The IRN’s 28 researchers, from 17 universities in nine countries and regions, are collaborating on seven research projects, involving large data sets, regarding how a group’s executive thinking influences its members’ actions.
