SSPS organised the Inspiring Minds: Prominent Industry Speaker Series
The Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies recently organised the “Inspiring Minds: Prominent Industry Speaker Series”. This series aims to provide attendees with invaluable insights into the complexities of strategic communication within the business context.
The first session, held on 27 February, featured Mr Matthew Lo, Co-Founder of NOVA InnoTech Limited, who shared valuable insights on leveraging data and insights to enhance marketing strategies in today’s digital era. He also shared the practical frameworks for setting strategic key performance indicators (KPIs), mapping high-impact customer journeys, optimising activities, and boosting overall performance through data analysis and intelligence.
The second session, held on 19 March, featured Mr Joe Chiu, Ex-CEO of DiDi Mobility Japan and Ex-Executive Vice President of EF Education First, who delivered a captivating talk on the power of empathy in business communication. Mr Chiu shared his personal experiences and highlighted the importance of empathy in fostering meaningful connections with clients and colleagues.
