Here come your opportunities!
The Department of Social Sciences and Resource Centre for Interdisciplinary and Liberal Studies will organize a career development workshop on 16 June 2020 (Tue). You could gain first-hand advice from our keynote guest speaker.
Ms Liu Pui Shan Si-si, Director of the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres, will talk about:
social service NGO workplace expectation of an employee,
tips for attending interviews at social service NGO jobs.
1. Abilities and Mentality requested by an employer in social service NGO industry;
2. Capability requirement for a fresh graduate working in social service NGO workplace;
3. Interview tips for applying for job positions in social service NGOs.
Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres (HKFWC), founded in 1981, is a non-partisan and non-religious women's organization. They concern about the situation of grassroots women, and promote gender equality in Hong Kong through services, education and advocacy. Through their women centres, they develop volunteer networks, provide appropriate services for women, and develop their potential.
