The Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS) cordially invites you to attend the inaugural Policy Dialogue featuring Professor Anthony Cheung, Research Chair Professor of Public Administration and former Secretary for Transport and Housing, Hong Kong. Designed as a series of interactive sessions, the Policy Dialogue series seeks to address some of the most pressing policy challenges facing Hong Kong and the region.

The Speakers
Professor Anthony Cheung is currently the Research Chair Professor of Public Administration with the Department of Asian and Policy Studies at EdUHK. From 2008 to 2012, Professor Cheung was President of The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd), the predecessor of EdUHK. From 2012 to 2017, he was Secretary for Transport and Housing and Chairman of the Housing Authority. He is also Visiting Professor at the Insitute for Public Policy, HKUST.
Professor Donald Low is currently Senior Lecturer and Professor of Practice at the Insitute of Public Policy of the HKUST as well as the Director of Leadership and Public Policy Executive Education. He is an accomplished consultant lecturer in economics and behavioural economics, decision-making and risk analysis, inequality and social policy, complexity in public policy, organisational behavior, and the politics and governance of Singapore.
About the Policy Dialogue Series
Last year, the Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS), EdUHK and the Division of Public Policy (PPOL), HKUST, co-organised the Policy Dialogue Series featuring Professor Anthony Cheung (張炳良教授), Research Chair Professor of Public Administration and former Secretary for Transport and Housing in Hong Kong. In the 2019-20 academic year, they will cooperate again to hold 5 dialogue sessions. Professor Anthony Cheung, as one of the principal speakers, will be joined by another professor in the relevant field to explore some contemporary public policy challenges facing Hong Kong, as follows:

- Smart City and Innovation Policy
- Housing Policy and Politics
- Transport and Infrastructure Development
- Crisis Management
