Aims:

a. To provide an opportunity and platform for PE teachers to share, discuss and disseminate innovative PE practices;

b. To share good experiences of school-based assessment, pedagogy and curricular development and practices in PE; and

c. To familiarize with good and innovative PE curriculum development in Hong Kong schools.

Themes:

It is tentatively planned to organize the sessions with the following themes:

* Assessment issues / School based assessment
* Innovative curricular and pedagogical practices
* Practicum and post practicum sharing and discussion
* Others

Format:

It is a one-day seminar with free presentation of papers, poster, practicum and workshop of different themes. Speakers, demonstrators and performers will be selected through invitation and open registration. The function expects the participation of more than 1000 PE teachers. Parallel sessions of paper presentations, poster presentation, teaching practicum, discussion and trade expose are scheduled.
