Learning and Teaching Expo 2024 Tour Visit
On 12 December 2024, Students of the MA(MP), MSc(AI&EdTech), BEd(P)-MA, and BSc(AI&EdTech) students participated in the Learning and Teaching Expo 2024 in the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai with MIT Academic Staff.
The tour also joined the “Multimodal AI-Powered Language Enhancement (MAPLE) System” talk provided by Professor Yu Leung Ho Philip in the AI in Education Theatre, featuring the MAPLE system to facilitate self-directed language learning in daily life activities.
During the visit, teachers and students also explored numerous booths and had close contact with the Exhibitors of the event to gain an understanding of the education industry and the latest technology implementation. Students and teachers have come across a wide variety of fields ranging from 3D printing to AI-supplemented e-learning resources and facilities to look for further collaboration and application into practices.
