The Education University of Hong Kong Delegation Explores AI-Driven Education Innovation and Collaboration at Central China Normal University (CCNU)
A delegation led by the director of Centre of Learning Teaching and Technology (LTTC), Chair Professor XU Guandong from The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) visited the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education of Central China Normal University, with aims of engaging in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge intelligent education technologies and collaborations. The visit resulted in multiple agreements on strategic cooperation. Associate Head of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (MIT) Dr. SUN Daner, Assistant Professor Dr. YANG Yu (LTTC), and Research Assistant Professor Dr. YANG Yin Nicole (MIT) participated in the visit and discussions, with Prof Yang Zongkai, director of National Engineering Research Center for Digital Learning, Prof Wu Di, deputy dean of Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education, associate director of National Engineering Research Center for Digital Learning: Prof Wu Longkai and Prof Wu Helin from CCNU.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Smart Classroom at the Nanhu Complex, the National Engineering Research Center for Educational Big Data Applications, the National Engineering Research Center for Digital Learning. They observed real-world applications of intelligent teaching systems and multimodal interactive technologies-Xiaoya learning management system developed by CCNU. During the round table meeting, both parties (EdUHK and CCNU) attended the discussion, and reached a series of agreements to deepen collaboration in research and teaching.
Moving forward, both institutions will continue to strengthen the integration of AI technologies and educational practice, jointly contributing to the global advancement of digital education transformation.
