GBA (Shenzhen) Trip on 13 December 2024

The Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at The Education University of Hong Kong successfully hosted a trip to the Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen). The teachers and students visited the Shenzhen Museum and the Reform and Opening-up Museum together, gaining profound insights into China's rapid transformation. The Shenzhen Museum showcases the city's history, from its beginnings as a fishing village to its development into a global metropolis, with exhibits highlighting cultural heritage and urban development, making it a captivating visit. Meanwhile, the Reform and Opening-up Museum focuses on the significant changes initiated in the late 20th century, vividly illustrating economic reforms and their impact on society. Both museums provide engaging displays and interactive elements, making them essential stops for anyone interested in understanding Shenzhen's dynamic evolution and China's modernization journey.
