HKIEd's Town Centre moves to Long Beach

Facilitating the needs of serving teachers for professional development, training pro-grammes were often held in our old Town Centre located in Skyway House, Tai Kok Tsui, in addition to the main campus at Tai Po. With the upsurge in demand generated by these training needs, facilities at Skyway House soon became inadequate for the growing capacity requirements.

We therefore opened a new Town Centre with a total floor area of about 58,852 square feet, at Level 2, Long Beach, 8 Hoi Fai Road, Tai Kok Tsui (conveniently located close to the Olympic MTR station), commencing full operations on 28 August 2006, the first day of the new term. The new Town Centre is equipped with a full range of tailor-made teaching and learning facilities as well as related amenities, including multi-purpose teaching venues, language laboratories, art and music rooms, IT services and a library.
