Mega-brainstorming
Session for 1,000 Educators |
|
Background Three years ago, the HKIEd, the Hong Kong Subsidised Secondary Schools Council and the Subsidised Primary School Council created a platform for professional exchange for all Hong Kong's school principals, supported by specialist advice from academics and relevant government officials. In addition to serving as a think tank for education reform and its implementation, this platform also aimed to encourage experience sharing. The 1st Conference was held on 19 March 2004 at HKIEd's campus, with "Breaking New Ground: Steering and Strategies" as its theme. Response from participants was overwhelming, with the conference and its activities enjoying popular support from the education sector. |
