Mega-brainstorming Session for 1,000 Educators

Previous Experience Lays Foundations for Greater Success
Bearing similar objectives as the last conference, the 2nd Conference was enriched with the participation of overseas experts and professionals from outside the education sector. As a result, Conference subjects were both substantial and diverse. In addition to the main theme, "Beyond Dilemmas", there were three sub-themes:-

• "Optimising Leadership Effectiveness",
• "Energising Teacher Capacity" and,
• "Enhancing Curriculum and Instruction".

A post-conference survey revealed that over 96% of the respondents were satisfied with the Conference. The Organising Committee is most grateful to Mrs Rita Fan, President of the Legislative Council, who gave the opening speech at the Conference; and Professor Arthur Li and Mrs Fanny Law, Secretary and Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower respectively, whose encouraging remarks in the house programme did so much to support the Conference. With two successful conferences under our belt, the Organising Committee will work equally hard on our 3rd Conference to introduce and implement more new concepts into the education community.
