The Honorary Interviewers Scheme
first began in the 2000/2001 academic year. Coordinated by the Registry,
the Scheme aims to identify future teachers, with strengths covering,
but not confined to only, the academic domain. Based on the four attributes
of communication, commitment, concern and creativity; the input from
school principals helps the Institute to design and improve the parameters
of our General Suitability Interview for applicants to our degree programmes.
Not only has the participation of school principals enhanced the transparency,
objectivity and credibility of the General Suitability Interview, it
has also served to foster a close partnership between the Institute
and the school community. |
